The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and highly detail orientated Training Coordinator to join our Murray Bridge team and contribute to the development of our workforce. This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and sustainability in our operations.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing training programs for our employee, ensuring that are well equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of the industry regulations and best practices in meat processing.
About The Role
- Develop and implement training programs that align with company objectives and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate ongoing training sessions for new and existing employees
- Assess training needs across the operations
- Create training materials, manuals and resources that enhance learning and retention
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as needed
- Maintain training records and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Collaborate with department managers to identify skill gaps and training opportunities
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations and best practices to enhance training content
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and safety with the work place
What We Are Looking For
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment is preferred but not essential
- 3-5 years experience in the meat industry, beef experience preferred but not essential
- Proven experience in training and development
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the meat industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proficient in in Microsoft Office Suite and training software/tools
