About the role

We are seeking an aspiring a Centre Director to join our growing team at Little Sunshine ELC & Kindergarten in Preston, Victoria. As our Director, you will play a crucial role in guiding and shaping the future of early childhood education at our centre. This is a full-time position, offering opportunities for ongoing professional development and career progression.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing the daily operations and administration of the early learning centre

Supporting the development and implementation of high-quality educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

Fostering strong relationships with children, families, and the local community

Ensuring the centre meets all regulatory requirements and maintains a safe, nurturing environment

Mentoring and guiding the educators to enhance their professional practice

Participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives

Assisting with staff rostering, performance management, and professional development

What we're looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Experience working in a leadership or management role in a childcare setting

Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with families and the community

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best possible care and learning experiences for children
