A well-established and rapidly growing HVAC service provider is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead their Sydney-based service division. This is a full-time, permanent role ideal for a technically strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced, team-first environment.

You’ll be managing a team of technicians, apprentices, and coordinators, supporting high-profile commercial clients across the metro area. With a strong operations and safety platform in place, this role is about coaching your team, building client relationships, and driving service delivery performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead, support and manage a team of HVAC technicians and service staff

Run toolbox talks, performance reviews, and ongoing upskilling

Oversee service operations, workflow, and scheduling systems (e.g. Simpro)

Monitor division performance, KPIs, margins, and service delivery standards

Build and maintain strong client relationships

Provide hands-on technical guidance and support when required

Ensure safety and compliance standards are met across all jobs

Collaborate on quoting, contract planning, and operational improvements

What You’ll Need

Minimum 5 years’ HVAC service experience

Trade-qualified in HVAC/Refrigeration (Cert III minimum)

Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems

Leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach

High level of client-facing communication and professionalism

Strong understanding of WHS, risk, and compliance

Proficient in Simpro or similar service software

Current Australian driver’s licence and full working rights
