We are seeking a talented Cello Specialist Teacher to join our dynamic music team on a casual basis. This role is ideal for a skilled cellist who is passionate about nurturing musical excellence and inspiring students through high-quality instrumental instruction and ensemble participation.
This casual position is required for approx 6 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and/or small group cello lessons to students ranging in skill level.
Assist with the preparation and direction of string ensembles or chamber groups as required.
Support student participation in performances, examinations, and competitions.
Maintain clear and timely communication with students, parents, and the broader music department.
About You:
Proficient cello player with demonstrated performance and/or teaching experience.
Ability to work with students of varying ages and skill levels.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A collaborative and professional approach to music education.
