About your new role
Are you a driven and experienced surveyor ready to lead complex municipal projects across both greenfield and brownfield environments? We are seeking 2 x Senior Surveyor’s to provide expert technical advice and manage the full lifecycle of engineering survey projects as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities include:
• Lead and manage engineering surveys across a range of municipal projects, including feature, control, set-out, underground services, and as-constructed surveys.
• Provide feasibility assessments, master planning input, and accurate cost and time estimates for survey works.
• Oversee survey data capture and delivery for ADAC compliance and construction conformance reporting.
• Monitor project progress, manage variations, and report on timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Ensure all work complies with WHS, environmental, and quality standards.
• Deliver specialist technical advice to Council teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor survey staff, allocate tasks effectively, and support ongoing training and development.
• Audit survey submissions and design documents to ensure accuracy and constructability.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, safety procedures, and customer engagement programs.
We're looking for people who have:
• Proven experience in engineering surveying across greenfield and brownfield infrastructure projects.
• Ability to lead a team, manage complex workloads, and deliver results under pressure.
• High-level problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Associate degree in Spatial Science (surveying) and equivalent experience
• Driver’s licence (C class)
• Registration Surveyors Board of Queensland
• Experience with 12d Model
• Experience with Leica, 12d Field or Trimble is preferred
