We are seeking an appropriately qualified and experienced professional for the vital role of Head of Credit Compliance. Responsibilities:

Act as a Responsible Manager under the business' Credit Licence

Mastermind compliance policies and protocols on behalf of the organisation

Develop and maintain a compliance program to ensure the business operates in accordance with NCCP, Privacy, AML and related obligations for consumer lending

Determine compliance metrics and establish a system for tracking them

Sign off on marketing and advertising collateral

Remain up to date on laws related to the business and implement and update policies accordingly

Perform compliance audits to determine whether established protocols are being followed and identify improvement opportunities

Maintain the compliance resource library for staff members to reference when they have questions

Manage the business' Internal Dispute Resolution scheme and all complaint matters arising under it

Liaise with external regulatory bodies.

Qualifications and Experience required:

5+ years prior experience in management of consumer lending

2+ years prior experience in risk management or compliance roles

Superior attention to detail in order to effectively manage the business' risk profile

Must be a strong communicator and capable of expressing oneself clearly both verbally and in writing

Possess a collaborative personality and be open to suggestions from team members

Exemplify strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices

Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents and policies

Strong time management and organisational skills and be able to meet sometimes unpredictable deadlines

Should have a strong moral code and sense of ethics

Certificate IV in Credit Management or equivalent
