Peninsula Mutual are growing! We’re looking for a Head of Compliance to join us and provide support across all Mutual functions, including: Compliance, Finance and Claims. As a 2IC to the Associate Director, you will bring a hands-on approach to and play a pivotal role in ensuring the continued success and growth of Mutual.

In this role, you will:

• Support: Assist the Associate Director with all elements of the Mutual business, AFSL Compliance and Claims Management.
• Identify and mitigate: compliance risks and controls.
• Maintain: Mutual’s compliance management framework, ensuring operation in accordance with Regulatory and Financial Services licence requirements.

We’re looking for someone with 3+ years experience in a similar role who has:

• Industry experience: ideally coming from an Insurance background, with a wealth of knowledge across Risk & Compliance, AFSL and Claims.
• Operated at an executive level: preparing and presenting papers at Board level as well as providing regular updates to our global executive team.
• Hands on approach: as a senior member of the Mutual business, you will need to lead from the front, providing a high level of coaching and development to the Compliance team.
• Attention to detail: drive compliance monitoring, maintain the complaints and breach registers as well as provide reporting for internal parties and Regulatory bodies.
