About the Company
This Australian owned business is growing rapidly with a huge pipeline of work! Due to this rapid growth they want to expand their team and bring on a qualified Plumbing Supervisor to manage their fantastic plumbing team across Brisbane. The team have a vast knowledge of commercial, industrial and residential plumbing and a collective amount of years experience across all aspects of plumbing, including; maintenance, new builds, design and mining. This is a key role in the business and a background in maintenance plumbing working across domestic / residential clients is essential.

About the Role
Working in the domestic / residential maintenance sector, you will be reporting in the General Manager and working alongside other supervisors of a multi-trade company. You will be working with a team of technicians who understand that open communication, running on time and their reliability sets them apart from their competition.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include but not be limited to:

• Provide support, advice, coaching and supervision of plumbers and apprentices in the field with technical and sales related queries.
• Checking jobs and that correct margins are being met and processes followed in adherance to company standards and guidelines.
• Provide support and assist Electrical, HVAC and Appliance Teams with sales/technical phone calls and quoting as necessary when Plumbing work is indicated on these jobs.
• Attend larger projects to assist with quoting and completing works
• Provide hands on backup if required to ensure job completion to timely manner where necessary.
• Assist with complaint resolution
• Keep up to date with current standards and changes, adhere to relevant Australian Standards and Codes of Practices as well as AS3500, AS5601. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training - continuous improvement
• Assist with plumbing recruitment process - shortlist, schedule, and conduct interviews with candidate. Assist with onboarding and induction of new starters into plumbing team and
• Assist with development of training content relevant to operational requirements

Skills & experience

• Cert 3 in Plumbing or relevant qualifications
• At least 3 - 5years Maintenance Plumbing experience specifically working with domestic / residential clients
• At least 3-5 years experience in a similar Plumbing Supervisor role.
• Other relevant licenses
• Good understanding of the Plumbing Standard AS3500
• Australian Driver's License
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to work autonomously
• Able to take direction well and learn quickly on the job
