Carters Engineering are a privately owned construction, fabrication, and refurbishment company employing over 40 staff across multiple workshops in Bathurst NSW and are seeking a protective coating technician to join our team.
Steelwork preparation
Protective coating removal
Sandblasting of steelwork
Steelwork profile testing
Pulley Lagging, rubber lining and ceramic tiling
Primer and adhesive application
Size and shape calculations
Rubber application
Tile application
Knife work, sanding and finishing
Boiler/Autoclave operation and maintenance
Painting
Paint product knowledge
Cleaning and preparation work
Paint mixing
Paint application
Paint testing
Equipment maintenance
Quality, safety and additional responsibility
Positive attitude towards safety
Adherence to company procedure, policy and guidelines
Reporting on all works completed
Monitor and flag resource and stock level requirements
Housekeeping – Maintain a clean and tidy work area
Communication – Positive and frequent communication with supervisor to convey work status
