About the role

KO Beef is seeking a Diesel Motor Mechanic to join our team in Walgett, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced diesel motor mechanic to apply their skills and expertise to maintain and repair a diverse range of agricultural machinery and vehicles.

What you'll be doing

Diagnosing, servicing and repairing a variety of agricultural equipment, including tractors, harvesters, and other farm machinery

Conducting routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tune-ups, and brake inspections

Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues

Maintaining detailed records of all work performed

Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in automotive or agricultural mechanics, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role

Proven ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of agricultural machinery

Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills

A valid driver's licence

A passion for the agriculture industry and a commitment to providing high-quality performance

This is a live-in on farm position and the remuneration package on offer also consists of a tidy 3 bedroom home inclusive of utilities (electricity, gas & internet usage).
