About us:
At our Community Care Units, we provide medium to long term mental health care and rehabilitation in a supervised residential setting for people aged between 18-64 who are in recovery but require support to transition to independent living. The team at the unit support residents and help them develop skills required to live in the community.
Staff at the unit can help the resident with referrals for other supports. They also provide support to families and carers. The Community Care Unit site is made up of 20 one-bedroom units (including two suitable for use by people with physical disabilities).
About the role:
This role delivers high quality evidence based clinical services as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve better health outcomes for consumers with mental ilIness in a Community Mental Health setting. In this position you will be encouraged to participate in research, grant applications, undertake conference presentations and seek to publish articles in journals.
About you:
Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:
- Occupational Therapy
- Psychology
- Social Work (as well as Blue Card)
Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be highly desirable.
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $11,047 p.m. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $43.68 - $58.59 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
