About the role

Acetune automotive & tyres' is seeking a Qualified Mechanic to join our team in hoppers crossing. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a well-established and reputable automotive workshop, servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle systems

Perform scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, brake repairs, and general tune-ups

Test and inspect vehicles to identify and rectify faults

Maintain detailed records of work carried out and parts used

Provide exceptional customer service and advise customers on the best course of action for their vehicle

Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a smooth and efficient workshop operation

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field

Minimum 2 years of experience as a qualified Mechanic, preferably in a similar workshop environment

Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on a wide range of vehicle makes and models

Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical customers

Proficient in the use of workshop tools, equipment and diagnostic software

A commitment to ensuring high-quality work and a focus on continuous improvement

A current driver's licence and your own tools
