This is a full-time, hands-on role based in our Wendouree workshop. As an Automotive Technician at Edge Automotive, your job is to repair and service a range of vehicles to a high standard—efficiently, properly, and with care. We don’t do shortcuts. Every technician on our team plays a direct role in keeping jobs moving, keeping customers happy, and keeping the business moving.

You’ll be expected to carry your load, communicate clearly, and take ownership of your work from start to finish. You need to be able to plan your day, stay accountable to customer deadlines, and keep foremen updated if things shift.

This role is suited to someone with strong mechanical skills who backs themselves to do quality work without excuses. We’re after techs who take pride in a clean job, want to keep improving, and know how to work with others without ego or drama.

● Minimum 3 years’ experience as a qualified mechanic or technician (preferred)

● Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent) (preferred)

● Manual driver’s licence (preferred)

● Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability (preferred)

● Reliable, punctual, and committed to showing up ready to work (required)

● Comfortable working to deadlines and adapting when conditions change (required)

● High level of personal pride in your work and how you present yourself (required)
