About the Role

INDEX Consultants are seeking a Senior Integration Developer, who will play a pivotal role in coordinating technical integration for a Victorian Public Sector Client. This Developer will lead integration design, development, and implementation efforts to ensure robust data exchange capabilities that meet business requirements and client's standards.

This is a 12-month Max Term role with a potential to be extended.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate integration solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical standards.
• Review and approve integration designs from project teams and third-party suppliers.
• Mediate and resolve technical issues between project teams, health services, and suppliers.
• Contribute to build, test, data migration, and implementation activities.
• Identify and address emerging technical issues and risks, providing strategic recommendations.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in technical integration within the health sector, including hands-on experience with HL7/CDA messaging.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Rhapsody Integration Engine (certification highly regarded).
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, .NET, and web services would be highly regarded.
• Exposure to medical coding standards (ICD, SNOMED CT, LOINC, CPT.
• Mandatory Requirement - Must be an Australian Citizen OR Permanent Resident based in Melbourne
