Role Title: Senior .NET / MuleSoft Integration Developer
Location: Sydney / Melbourne (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months + extensions
Rate: $900 > $1000 (negotiable)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Integration Developer with strong expertise across Microsoft .NET and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The role will focus on designing and building integration solutions that connect enterprise systems, modernising legacy platforms, and enabling secure API-based communication between business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integration services using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
• Develop backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions between cloud and on-premise systems
• Work closely with architects, business analysts, and other development teams to deliver integration patterns
• Implement data transformations, message queuing, and orchestration flows
• Conduct unit, integration, and system testing to ensure high-quality code delivery
• Provide documentation, technical designs, and operational handover material
• Participate in DevOps and CI/CD processes (Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins)
• Support production releases and troubleshoot integration issues as required

Key Skills & Experience

• 5+ years commercial experience in .NET development (C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, WebAPI)
• 2+ years hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API design, RAML, DataWeave, flows)
• Strong experience in designing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Solid understanding of integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous, messaging, event-driven)
• Experience with Azure integration services (API Management, Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus) is highly regarded
• Good understanding of security (OAuth2, JWT, SAML, API gateways, encryption)
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Desirable Certifications

• MuleSoft Certified Developer (Mule 4)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
