IT Support Specialist – Part Time | $36/hr | Global Brand

Mayday Recruitment are looking for a technically skilled and service-focused IT Support Specialist to join a leading global company in the beauty and lifestyle sector. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on support environment, providing both hardware and software assistance to users across Australia and New Zealand.

Location: Sydney CBD
Type: Temporary with long-term potential
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week (Tuesdays & Thursdays preferred)
Pay Rate: $36 per hour + super

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-level IT support, primarily focused on hardware (laptops, mobile phones, networks, printers, AV equipment)

Manage onboarding and offboarding processes including equipment setup and reimaging

Troubleshoot and resolve ad-hoc technical issues

Deliver support services to other ANZ sites remotely

Offer high-quality VIP support where needed

Configure and install hardware/software systems

Plan and manage day-to-day local IT operations

Report service levels and performance to the IT leadership team

Deliver online and in-person training for new employees

What We're Looking For:

Must have full Australian working rights

At least 3 years' experience in an IT support/helpdesk or similar technical role

Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, AV equipment, and networks

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to manage third-party vendors when required

Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work independently and within a global team
