About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic and growing team at Park Road Dental in Cabramatta, NSW. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care. This is a casual position, offering flexible hours and the opportunity to work in a well-equipped dental practice.

What you'll be doing

Assisting dentists during various dental procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and maintaining a clean and organised work area

Sterilising and disinfecting dental instruments and equipment

Maintaining accurate patient records as required

Greeting and welcoming patients, ensuring a positive and professional experience

Providing exceptional customer service and addressing patient queries and concerns

Ensuring the dental surgery is well-stocked with necessary supplies

Undertaking various administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or equivalent role in a dental practice

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centric care

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and sterile work environment

Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including weekends if required

Relevant qualifications or certificates in dental assisting or a willingness to obtain them is a bonus

Ability to speak other language such as Chinese, Vietnamese or Thai is an advantage
