Our stores are places of energy, personality, and performance—and we’re on the lookout for an Area Manager who can lead the charge across a portfolio of three QLD stores.

The Role

As Area Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind your store leaders—coaching, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams that deliver exceptional customer experiences and strong commercial outcomes. This is a hands-on role across three stores, where you’ll spend 95% of your time on the shop floor, leading by example and coaching your teams in real time. This role requires working most weekends and majority public holiday.

You’ll work closely with our leadership team to bring our brand and retail strategy to life—combining operational excellence with human-centred leadership.

What You’ll Do

Lead and develop Store Managers and their teams across three QLD locations

Spend the majority of your time on the shop floor, coaching team members on customer experience and sales performance

Drive sales, profitability, and KPIs while fostering a high-performance culture

Execute visual merchandising and retail standards that reflect the FK brand

Support succession planning, training, and team development

Own operational standards including stock, wage control, and compliance

Problem-solve recruitment gaps, team challenges, and productivity opportunities

Collaborate with HQ teams to execute brand campaigns and initiatives

Travel between stores and be present where it counts most

About You

This role would suit a strong Store Manager ready to step into multi-site leadership or an Area Manager in their early years looking to grow with a supportive team.

You’ve led large teams (12+ people), know how to build culture, and believe leadership happens on the floor—not behind a laptop. You’re energised by developing people, coaching sales behaviours, and shaping exceptional customer experiences.

You’re hands-on, adaptable, commercially sharp, and ready to be the kind of leader your team looks up to.
