Location: Oshima Beaumaris Japanese Restaurant

Salary: $66,000–$72,000 + Super + Commissions/Bonus

Hours: 6 days/week, including weekends and evenings

We are a fast-growing Japanese restaurant group with multiple locations across Melbourne, known for high operational standards, consistent service, and strong team culture. We are currently seeking a dedicated and performance-driven Store Manager to lead one of our venues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth FOH and BOH coordination

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of up to 20 staff, including casual, part-time, and full-time employees

• Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance reviews

• Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace standards

• Monitor KPIs, customer satisfaction, and implement improvements when needed

• Coordinate with HQ for payroll, inventory, and promotional activities

• Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve service issues promptly

• Maintain a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Supervisor (minimum 2 years preferred)

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication in English; Japanese language is a plus but not required

• Solid understanding of rostering, cost control, and staff training

• Able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

• Right to work in Australia (citizenship, PR, or valid work visa)
