About the Role
This isn't your average IT support job. We're after someone who speaks the language of fleet maintenance and compliance – and can help our clients get the most from the Gearbox platform. You'll be handling support tickets, client calls and troubleshooting issues, and you'll also play a part in onboarding new clients, tidying up their data in Excel, and providing insights that help improve their experience with Gearbox.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Support Team Leader.
Efficiently resolving issues and providing technical support for our applications and platforms.
Engaging with both current and potential clients through support tickets and calls, working closely with the support team to deliver top-tier customer support.
Identifying software issues and escalating them promptly to the Development Team – while you don’t need to have deep tech know-how, effective communication skills are essential.
Meeting regularly with the Product Team to share feedback and help shape new features and improvements for our applications/platforms.
Responding to customer application support enquiries with accurate promptly via Zendesk, email, phone calls, or any other communication tools we use.
Actively contributing to application support projects, including improving internal and external application support documentation.
Troubleshooting issues and submitting bug reports following our established process and resolution procedures.
Importing and setting up new clients' operational data – mostly in Excel – making sure it's clean and accurate.
Other projects and duties as required.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years' experience in transport, logistics, supply chain and storage or fleet management, maintenance or compliance preferred. We’re looking for someone who gets this world like we do.
Strong background in customer-facing roles, demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid Excel skills. You don't need to be a data scientist, but you're comfortable using spreadsheets.
A curiosity for how systems work, and a knack for problem-solving.
Experience with compliance or accreditation systems is a big plus.
Comfortable working autonomously, prioritising tasks and managing your time effectively.
Optional:
Strong technology skills, including troubleshooting APIs and webhooks.
Proven experience in customer application support, ideally at a SaaS company.
Education:
High School Certificate
A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or related field (preferred but not essential)
