G.A.T.E.WAYS is seeking passionate educators to design and deliver engaging, curriculum-independent workshops in mathematics for high-potential gifted and talented primary school students across Sydney.

Founded in 1994, G.A.T.E.WAYS offers enrichment programs that challenge and extend high-potential learners. Our programs provide opportunities for like-minded children to think deeply, collaborate, and explore advanced concepts in a stimulating and supportive environment.

About the Program

Workshop Format: Two half-day workshops per day (one for lower primary, one for upper primary)

Program Locations: Hosted at various metropolitan Sydney schools

Audience: Gifted and talented primary-aged students from a range of schools

Focus: Depth, complexity, and creative learning beyond the standard school curriculum

About the Role

As a G.A.T.E.WAYS presenter, you will:

Design and deliver two engaging, hands-on workshops per program day

Work with support from the G.A.T.E.WAYS team during workshop development

Present at multiple school venues throughout each term

Provide your own workshop materials and teaching resources

What We're Looking For

Experience teaching or working with primary-aged children

A strong background in mathematics and/or science

Enthusiasm for educational creativity and independent workshop design

Excellent communication skills and ability to engage curious minds

Understanding of the needs of gifted learners

Fluency in spoken and written English

A current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
