Sanctuary Lakes Resort was built around a Greg Norman-designed 18-hole golf course and a 60-hectare lake. It also includes a recreation club with gymnasium and swimming pool, tennis courts, a resort maintenance team, and state-of-the-art security.
The Opportunity Reporting to the Board, the General Manager will be responsible for providing executive leadership and guidance, while driving the enhancement of customer service, project delivery and overall operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:

• Provide inspirational leadership to a diverse and technically qualified team.
• Oversee the day-to-day management of the organisation to ensure that it operates within policy, financial, statutory and legal obligations.
• Lead, manage and develop administrative staff to ensure smooth business operations and the provision of accurate and timely information, including the preparation of financial reports and budgets.

About you: To be successful in this role you will have:

• 10+ years’ experience managing a range of stakeholders in a service-based environment with high-level issue resolution skills.
• Proven leadership skills and experience driving performance, culture and productivity.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in commerce, finance, economics, law, property or a related technical field.

Previous experience and/or understanding of an Owners’ Corporation environment would be highly regarded.
The Offer: The General Manager position is offered on a permanent basis with a senior executive salary in the range $170K to $200K plus superannuation.
