SUMMARY:

An awesome opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join a leading Fintech company for 3-6 months. If you like getting stuck into transactions, working in the weeds through to the strategy, and taking it from beginning to end, then this is the role for you. You will work alongside and learn from people at the top of their game.

Lawyers can come directly from private practice or in-house.

THE ROLE

Take ownership of M&A transactions with the legal team's support and under the GC's strategic guidance.

Understand the entirety of the transaction, from the details to the strategy.

Negotiating and drafting all the corporate and associated documents.

ABOUT YOU

You have a current Australian practising certificate

6+ years’ experience in M&A, gained in-house or at a reputable firm.

You can run a transaction through every stage and level, from beginning to end, from detail to strategy.

You can get up to speed with the subject matter quickly

Can communicate with all levels – junior through to Board.

You live in Sydney or are looking to relocate to Sydney.

Can turn your mind to diverse legal issues and know when to ask for help and escalate matters.

Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.

SALARY

Up to $250K p/a including super, depending on experience.
