About the Role

My client is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Alteryx Super User to join their team and play a critical role in transforming and uplifting finance processes across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with deep expertise in Alteryx and a strong understanding of finance operations to help streamline workflows, automate manual processes, and enable data-driven decision-making.

This role is based in Sydney, however can be remote for someone across Australia with full working rights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Alteryx within the finance function.

  • Use Alteryx workflows to automate and enhance finance processes, including reporting, reconciliation, forecasting, and data validation.

  • Partner with Finance, IT, and Business Intelligence teams to identify automation opportunities and implement robust data solutions.

  • Provide hands-on support and training to finance users, championing best practices and driving adoption of Alteryx.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, assess feasibility, and deliver effective data solutions aligned with business goals.

  • Continuously monitor and improve existing workflows to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.


Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience with Alteryx and Finance process improvement roles
  • A solid understanding of finance and accounting principles (e.g., month-end close, reporting, FP&A).

  • Experience with data integration, cleansing, and transformation.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel for data visualization is a plus.

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
