About the Role
We’re seeking an Intermediate Tax Accountant to join our Ballarat office in a permanent role, with flexibility to suit your lifestyle (full-time or part-time). You will work closely with a diverse client base, spanning a wide range of industries, and enjoy genuine variety in your day-to-day work.
You’ll be responsible for:
Preparing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS and other tax documents
Completing work for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts
Communicating and building trusted relationships with our clients
Identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting clients with proactive practical advice
Collaborating with our team to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes
Experience in public practice and tax compliance are essential to this role with a preference given to candidates who have completed or are near completion of their CPA or CA studies.
About You
This opportunity is ideal for someone who:
Has experience in public practice and tax compliance
Can work independently and thrive in a supportive team environment
Demonstrates strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Communicates clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues
Has attained or is near attaining CPA or CA status
