About the role
As an APS6 Case Manager, you’ll take ownership of complex external review cases from start to finish. With autonomy and scope to exercise judgement, you’ll interpret legislation, apply policy, and use your strong advocacy skills to deliver impactful outcomes. You'll also play a key role in planning, stakeholder engagement, and delivering operational excellence across a dynamic caseload.

What you will do

Manage complex external review cases end-to-end

Resolve disputes efficiently using alternative dispute resolution methods

Partner with stakeholders, internal and external, to gather insights and drive resolution

Attend tribunals and prepare documentation outlining outcomes and options

Identify risk and respond with clarity and confidence

Prepare tailored participant plans based on case outcomes

What you will bring

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in complex case management

Confidence interpreting legislation and applying sound judgment in sensitive matters

Highly developed communication skills, including brief writing and stakeholder liaison

Ability to meet tight deadlines in a collaborative team setting

Knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks and familiarity with legal proceedings
