We are currently seeking permanent part-time Disability Support Workers to support our clients in SIL located in Kingaroy.

What we can offer you:

• Pay rates starting from $34.46 ($35.51 starting pay rate if you have a relevant Cert IV) + penalties + loadings.
• 12% superannuation (higher than the statutory 11.5%).

Overview of the role:

• 24-hour care model, meaning combination of shifts are available – morning, afternoon, weekends, and sleepovers.
• Assist participants with the range of self-care activities.
• Assist client with continence aids.
• Assist participants with engaging in community, social and recreational activities.
• Support people within both group settings and 1-on-1 arrangements.
• Implement positive behaviour support plans.
• Work in an environment with companion pet/s.
• Use a company vehicle and your own vehicle to transport participants to community-based outings.

What you need:

• Completed, or currently enrolled, in an industry relevant Certificate III qualification or higher.
• Minimum of three (3) months, paid employment experience in a Support Worker, Care Worker or Nursing role.
• Experience in providing Medication prompts / support, manual handling, and assisting complex clients (desirable)
• Experience working with seizure / epileptic prone clients (desirable)

• NDIS Worker Screening Check
