Mars Recruitment is looking for an experienced Internal Audit Manager, you'll support the development and delivery of a risk-based internal audit plan designed to protect and improve business operations. Reporting to the Head of Audit, you'll collaborate across the organisation, provide strategic insights, and ensure high-quality audit execution - both independently and in partnership with a co-sourced internal audit firm.

Oversee co-sourced audit engagements to ensure timely and quality delivery.

Monitor and report on the status of agreed audit action items.

Deliver audits as outlined in the Annual Internal Audit Plan and ARC requests.

Lead follow-ups and updates via internal audit tracking tools.

Help evolve and refresh the 3-year risk-based audit strategy.

Coordinate with other risk and compliance functions to ensure alignment.

Drive process improvements to enhance audit quality and efficiency.

Key Requirements:

CA, CPA or CIA certification.

University degree in a relevant discipline.

6+ years' experience in Internal Audit (Big 4, corporate, or government).

Strong technical skills in planning and delivering audits.

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Proven stakeholder engagement ability across all organisational levels.

Australian work rights required.

• Manage Internal Audit process end to end.

Prior experience in the Australian internal audit landscape.

Exposure to energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.

Data analytics proficiency in an audit context.

Experience with ServiceNow or similar audit/risk platforms.
