You’ll work directly with Executives and support a proactive internal audit function with a strong focus on risk-based auditing, continuous improvement, and constructive engagement.

What you’ll be doing:

Lead end-to-end audits across diverse topics: from major capital works to finance, procurement, WHS, IT, and HR.

Collaborate with the GM, to shape the annual audit plan and deliver insights to the Board and Executive Committee.

Present findings to senior stakeholders and support the business to implement meaningful, practical improvements.

Manage co-sourced audits, liaise with external providers, and monitor audit action closures.

What we’re looking for:

Internal Audit experience, gained across Rail, Engineering, Infrastructure, Transport, Construction, or similar asset-based or physical industries is essential.

Strong communication and report writing skills, including presenting to executive-level stakeholders.

Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field

Strategic thinking, independence, and the ability to manage multiple audit streams.

Sydney-based with some interstate travel required.
