Position
Reporting to the Business Director, the Finance Manager plays a critical role in strengthening the College’s financial sustainability and supporting strategic decision-making through high-level financial analysis, risk insights, and forward-looking recommendations. The role oversees budgeting, forecasting, and internal control processes; ensures compliance with tax, payroll, and statutory reporting obligations; manages the acquittal of government grants; and coordinates external audits. Additionally, the Finance Manager leads the implementation and continuous improvement of the College’s finance system.

Profile

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Accountant, preferably in a education setting.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or Business.
• CPA or CA membership
• Strong understanding of financial compliance, internal controls, and accounting standards.
• Experience with financial management software, preferably TASS or similar ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
• High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

$55 an hour + super / $90,000 - 100,000 + super
