A leading Chartered Accounting firm in Sydney is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. You’ll gain exposure to a diverse client base, including SMEs, high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family groups, and large companies, while working closely with experienced professionals in a high-performing firm.

Main Duties:

Preparation and analysis of financial statements and tax returns for all entities including – individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts

Deal with various tax matters including GST, CGT, FBT, Division 7A and more.

liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies

Collaborate with experienced accountants for strategic client advice.

Oversee a client portfolio and foster strong client relationships.

Stay updated Australian taxation laws

About you:

Minimum of 3 years' accounting experience in public practice in Australia.

Experience with Xero, MYOB & other accounting software.

Completed/pursuing CA/CPA

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; and a positive can-do attitude, be proactive, enthusiastic with a strong work ethic.

Bachelor degree in accounting or relevant field
