Smart Electrical Queensland is one of Australia's largest Factory Second retailers, specialising in Factory Seconds, Carton Damage, Unit Damage and Referbished home appliances and home entertainment. We are the selected retailer from almost all major home appliance brands, and sell anything major retailers cannot sell at full price.

This is a job that the owner has done himself, with the help of Operations staff and marketing team interstate. However, the sales has gotten to a point where he cannot run and pick orders and do marketing at the same time.

What this role entails:

Around 4-8 orders come through at a given day. Your job is to see if the stock is at the warehouse or the stores and make invoices, book in delivery date with customers or pick up days. As these are factory seconds, it is imperative that customers know this, and we make sure we send photos before they accept the product.

Online Enquiries (E-Mail)- We get around 3-10 enquiries a day to the head office email. Convert them into sales. Customers who send emails are just wanting an explination of what factory seconds are, or just want to see the product before purchasing

Enquries (Facebook & Instagram) - We get messages from Facebook and Instagram. Respond to them and convert them into sales.

Marketing - Stock Quantities matching to the website, managing the website, adding new products into the website. This can be teachable but good computer skills is a must.

Getting stock ready for delivery (Online orders) - Wrapping, moving fridges, washers around for stock prep. Discussing with Operations and Sales Team members about delivery dates and avaliability. Organising seperate truck with the spare truck.

What we are looking for:

Good problem solving. If we do not have the stock, convince the customers to go for something else. Not losing the sale. Negociation tactics.

Team Player - We have a great team here at Smart Electrical, will be treated here as a person, not a number. Communication with team here at smart electrical will be critical for a succssful intergration with our team here.

Polite Phone Manners, Email skills.

Website Entry - Good with Data entry and basic calculations.
