We are looking to add a new member to our team.
The successful applicant will enjoy interacting with customers and communicating technical terminology in everyday language, while providing premium service, support and sales of Apple devices to our customers.
LOCATION
We are located close to the beach at Shop 2, 18 Burnett St, Mooloolaba.
MAIN DUTIES
As a valued member of our service team the successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of our service centre including:
troubleshooting and checking in Apple devices for repair
technical support, product training and checking out Apple devices
product purchasing advice for customers, and sales of Apple products and accessories
transferring files, updating software, setting up email and Apps, recovering data and other software-based services
technical support and customer education including setup of new Apple devices (Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Beats, etc.), Mac and iOS software setup, support of iCloud services and Mac software, etc.
diagnosing and performing hardware repairs (Macintosh and iOS) according to Apple's Authorised Service Provider standards
maintaining accurate records of service work undertaken, and following up as required
checking in, tracking and despatching service parts through Apple's GSX and Fixably
communicating effectively and accurately with customers – both face-to-face and over the phone – during the repair and support process from check in to check out
ensuring records and information are submitted through Apple GSX and Fixably accurately and correctly
working as part of a fun and challenging environment that highly values customer service
NB. You will be working on the front bench in sales and check-in/check-out of repairs. Once you achieve the required Apple qualifications and can demonstrate the ability to follow repair procedures, you will have the opportunity to work as an Apple Authorised Technician repairing Apple devices.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Previous experience working for Apple Retail or an Apple Service Provider or Apple Reseller would be fantastic. However, if you do not have experience or Apple qualifications, but can demonstrate an ability to qualify and pass the required certifications, we will consider you for the position.

strong knowledge of the Apple's macOS, iOS, iPadOS, tvOS and Apple hardware
attention to detail, good grammatical skills, an ability to keep things in order and follow procedures
ability to be trained and stay current with new Apple technology and trends
can communicate technical information in a way that the general user can understand
motivated to become one of the most knowledgeable Apple technicians in Australia
enjoy the challenge of working with customers, resolving issues that arise and having the knowledge to provide effective product education and guidance
Desirable
previous or current Apple Certified Technician qualifications
previous work for Apple or an Apple Authorised Service Provider or Reseller
maturity in both customer and staff communication and interaction
experience in software training (Mac, iOS, MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, POS, CRM)
experience in network administration, backup, storage and other services related to Apple products
COMPETENCIES
Strong written and Oral Communication Skills, Grammar, Customer Service Skills, Technical Aptitude, Efficiency, Learning Ability, Teamwork, Initiative, Adaptability.
HOURS
Fulltime (we currently trade 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday) - your roster will be 40 hours per week.
