We are now recruiting a Senior Supply Planner to join our Supply Chain team, working across our Fashion and Fragrance and Beauty divisions.
WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL
The Senior Supply Planner focuses on integrating and analyzing data to derive insights that will drive metric-based decision making to support efficient inventory management. You will be responsible for developing and executing supply plans in alignment with business objectives, across all divisions, through effective cross-functional communication.
YOU ARE ENERGIZED BY
Collaborating with internal teams, using your exceptional communications skills to navigate and optimize the relationships within the business, including local, regional and global stakeholders.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Manage all divisions order fulfillment for all channels focusing maximum fulfillment of assorted items.
Leverage supply chain expertise to recommend solutions for enhanced operational efficiency.
Be responsible for managing and optimizing stock turns and re-balancing between Domestic and Duty-free stock to maximize fill rates and reduce obsolescence.
Review and propose stock rebalancing within markets to optimize inventory holding.
Developing and executing supply plans in alignment with business objectives through cross-functional communication.
Ownership on Sustainable Supply Chain - Chanel mission 1.5 and hold the Accountability for Sea vs Air freight KPIs where Sea freight usage must be 90%.
Maximize use of sea freight on all divisions stock shipments; Continuously monitor lead time parameters and recommend adjustment of DRP parameters like safety stock, classification, and lead times.
Collaborate with forecasting team to enhance forecast accuracy and responsiveness to market dynamics.
Accountable for validation of forecast in managing DRP inputs in DRP tool by reconciling forecast from forecasting tool to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the order proposals.
Oversee the day-to-day activities and productivity of the Vendor Replenishment Planner
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Tertiary qualifications in Supply chain management, warehousing, logistics or significant hands-on experience.
Sound background in quantitative analytics, forecasting, data modelling, predictive analysis and process improvement
Advanced MS Excel skills (knowledge of SQL, Macros and mass data processing is advantageous)
Exposure to reporting tools, ERP systems and warehouse management systems
Strong attention to detail with superior written and verbal communication skills
Excellent stakeholder engagement capability and proven ability to present insights in a meaningful way, to drive buy-in and strengthen collaboration
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work towards meeting tight deadlines and competing priorities
