About the role

As a Retail Assistant at Ingham Road Seafood, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our retail store. This full-time position is based in our Townsville, Queensland location and offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and customer-focused team.

What you'll be doing

Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience

Operating the cash register and processing sales transactions efficiently

Restocking and organising seafood display cabinets to maintain a well-presented store

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and quality standards

Contributing to a collaborative team environment and supporting your colleagues as needed

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a retail or customer service role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and helpful attitude

Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

A genuine interest in the seafood industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
