About the role

The Manager, Procurement is responsible for leading the development and implementation of procurement and contract management frameworks that support IBA’s strategic objectives. This role ensures compliance with the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, while driving value-for-money outcomes and strong governance. The role operates with a high degree of independence and judgment and plays a key role in influencing strategic and operational outcomes across the agency.

What you’ll bring to the team

· Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field such as Business, Commerce or Law.

· 5+ years in strategic procurement and contract management.

· Experience with Commonwealth Government procurement frameworks, including PGPA act and other governmental agency requirements.

· Demonstrated ability to manage high-risk, high-value procurement projects.

· Experience with Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP) or special procurement practices.

· Experience in policy development, board reporting and stakeholder engagement.
