Garde Timber is an award winning Brisbane Southside based Timber Merchant distributing Architectural Timber products to local and interstate markets incorporating fabrication of Solid Laminated Timber bench tops and Stairs .

We currently require a multi skilled Timber Yard Person / Woodworker - full time position .

To be considered for this position you will require:

*Minimum 2 years experience in the timber or affiliate industry with a valid forklift and car licence.

*Able to assemble and pack / strap Timber orders accurately for collection or transport.

*Having some Carpentry / cabinet making / furniture making / solid timber skills would be a major advantage to dress ,cut, sand and value add our Timber products.

*Be physically fit, energetic and enjoy some manual labour for order assembly.

*Ability to drive a small body truck with car licence for order pick ups and deliveries and forklift driving experience.

Clerical and numeracy skills with the ability to read and interpret paperwork & customer orders

Ability to follow instructions with good communication skills and work within a small team

· On the job training will be provided.

· Safe, secure work environment. Job security with a small tight crew to work with.

Full time position 38hr week Mon - Fri

Plus possible Saturday morning hours available

Great pay rates apply commensurate with experience.
