About the Role:

As Yardperson - Earthmoving Equipment, you’ll play a critical role in the flow of machinery in and out of our yard and ensure everything is ready to meet customer expectations.

In this role, you’ll:

Conduct machine onboarding/offboarding - basic checks, visual inspections, fuel levels, cleanliness

Assist with machine prep and attachment setups

Organize, sort, and maintain buckets, attachments, and yard layout

Operate forklifts to load/unload equipment and accessories

Ensure the yard is kept clean, safe, and organized

Help maintain presentation standards across the fleet

Communicate with operations and workshop staff for smooth handovers

About You:

You’re reliable, hands-on, and take pride in keeping things neat, organized, and moving. You enjoy structured tasks, get satisfaction from doing things right, and have some knowledge of heavy equipment or the hire industry.

You’ll need:

Forklift license (essential)

Dogging ticket (essential)

Basic Mechanical knowledge or experience working around heavy equipment

Reliable work ethic – shows up, gets the job done properly

Attention to detail – notices when machines or attachments are out of order

Strong communication and teamwork

Driver’s license

Bonus Skills (Great to Have):

Previous experience in earthmoving/civil hire

Understanding of machine attachments and machine prep

Mechanical or service knowledge
