We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Allocator/Scheduler to join our team.

As a Fleet Allocator, you'll be the wizard behind the scenes, ensuring our fleet of vehicles is always where it needs to be, when it needs to be there.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate vehicle assignments to drivers, considering factors like availability, distance, suitability and urgency.
• Monitor and track the movement of vehicles, ensuring efficient utilisation.
• Communicate with drivers and dispatchers to address any issues or changes in plans.
• Run and operate a weighbridge for ingoing and outgoing products.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimise fleet operations and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years prior experience in logistics or fleet management.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to changing situations.
• Proficiency in using fleet management software or willingness to learn.
