What You’ll Be Doing

Demco Electrical is currently seeking skilled and motivated electricians to join our dynamic team, servicing the Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast region. This is a great opportunity to work across a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial projects in a role that offers variety, stability, and growth.

In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Electrical Installations – Carrying out high-quality installations for new builds, renovations, and commercial fit-outs. This includes switchboards, lighting systems, power distribution, data cabling, and machinery wiring across homes, offices, retail outlets, warehouses, and industrial sites.

Maintenance & Repairs – Performing both scheduled and reactive maintenance to ensure systems remain safe and efficient. This involves fault finding, replacing components, upgrading outdated systems, and servicing industrial control panels and plant equipment.

Troubleshooting & Diagnostics – Identifying and resolving electrical issues efficiently across domestic switchboards, commercial emergency lighting, and complex industrial control systems.

Client Support – Providing professional advice to clients on system functionality, maintenance schedules, and energy-efficient upgrades.

Safety & Compliance – Ensuring all work complies with AS/NZS 3000, local regulations, and health and safety requirements—especially important in industrial settings.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

A current Queensland Electrical Worker Licence

Proven experience as a qualified electrician in residential, commercial and/or industrial environments

Strong technical knowledge and a practical approach to problem-solving

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A proactive attitude toward safety and risk management

Reliability, punctuality, and strong organisational skills

Current Construction White Card

Valid First Aid and CPR/LVR certifications

A valid Australian driver's licence and reliable transport

Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or full working rights in Australia
