The successful candidate will have exceptional relational skills with experience in facilities and grounds, driven to build a positive, welcoming, and supportive school culture, and be committed to the college's development and growth. You will perform a range of activities to ensure that the school is maintained to a high standard; follow set instructions; and have independence to perform a variety of day-to-day services that are routine in nature.

Our ideal candidate will possess these skills:
• strong relational skills and the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• demonstrated ability to conduct minor repairs and maintenance to Grounds and Facilities (except jobs that require qualified trades)
• excellent organisational skills
• demonstrated ability to maintain school facilities and grounds at a high standard
• ability to independently, multi-task and prioritise tasks
• capability to perform activities consistent with WPHS guidelines (safe working environments, equipment maintenance, safe storage, handling chemicals, fertilisers and fuels)
• knowledge of Chemical Management
• knowledge of procurement policy and managing grounds/facility budgets
• innovative mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving
• ability to follow instructions and work independently or as a team on routine tasks
• Horticultural experience will be highly regarded due to our unique landscaping design.
