You will be reporting into a dynamic manager with a strong commercial mindset who is focused on adding value to the business by properly understanding the operational side of the business and nurturing close relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clear, actionable performance analysis and commentary against key benchmarks (budget, forecast, prior year) to inform strategic decision-making.
- Play a key role in the development of business cases for major initiatives such as stock and inventory management, third party logistics analysis, and cost optimisation strategies.
- Act as a trusted business partner across the full Supply Chain, delivering financial insights that drive operational and commercial performance.
- Lead and develop a small team of analysts, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Drive the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Design and implement robust financial models and KPI reporting frameworks that directly influence production efficiency and commercial outcomes.
Experience and Skillset:
- CA/CPA qualified, or possess strong relevant operational and financial experience in manufacturing / FMCG.
- Demonstrated experience at supporting key stakeholders in an organisation, preferably in supply chain or operations. This will require articulate communication skills and strong relationship management expertise.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential; experience with Power BI is highly regarded.
- Proficient in ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong commercial mindset and analytical thinking coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving in dynamic environments.
