About the role

Join the team at General Electrical Services Pty Ltd as a full-time Electrician based in Sydney's inner west

In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert electrical services to both domestic and commercial customers. With a focus on delivering high-quality work and outstanding customer service, you will play a key part in the continued growth and success of our well-established electrical contracting business.

What you'll be doing

• Undertaking a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks in the domestic and commercial environment
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults and issues
• Testing and inspecting electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with all relevant AS/NZS 3000 regulations and NSW OH&S safety protocols
• Providing advice and guidance to customers on electrical matters
• Documenting work undertaken and maintaining detailed job records using our Cloud-Based work management system.
• Collaborating with other team members to deliver effective and efficient service
• Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification as an Electrician, with a current Australian Electrician's Licence with 3 years experience.
• Proven experience working as an Electrician, ideally within the commercial and/or domestic sectors
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• A commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• A positive, self starter and team-oriented attitude
• ACRS Structured cabling licence is beneficial but not required
