Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting and repairs on fire detection and alarm systems

Installation and wiring of fire detection and alarm systems

Programming of Fire Detection Systems

Conduct comprehensive testing and inspections of various fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with AS1851-2012 and other applicable standards.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as Dry Fire Systems Electrician in the fire protection industry

In-depth knowledge of various fire detection and alarm systems, equipment, and technologies

Strong understanding of relevant codes and regulations, such as AS16701, AS1851-2012, Building Code of Australia (NCC) and industry standards.

Proficiency in conducting system tests and inspections, diagnosing faults, and implementing appropriate repairs and upgrades.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex systems and identify effective solutions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
