About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our friendly team at Elmer's Furniture Court and Beds R Us in Maryborough, QLD. This is a part-time role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment.

What you'll be doing

Providing exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selections and inquiries

Maintaining a neat and organised store environment

Restocking and organising merchandise to ensure the store is visually appealing

Handling cash and card transactions accurately

Collaborating with the team to achieve sales targets and department goals

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the furniture or home goods industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and provide a positive shopping experience

Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a neat and organised store

Reliable and punctual, with the flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends

A genuine passion for the retail industry and a desire to contribute to the success of the business
