Door Installer / Fire Technician – full-time position

Salary: Negotiable

Seeking an experienced hardworking and reliable carpenter/door installer with extensive carpentry knowledge and specific proven experience with door installation. Looking for someone to start immediately. This is a full time position on a salary basis. Majority of the work undertaken within the Sydney metro area. Company vehicle provide.

Essential criteria:

* Relevant trade qualification plus 2 years’ experience

* Working knowledge and capacity to install fire doors, solid core doors, hollow core doors, frame installations and hardware

* Good communication skills

* Ability to work independently

* Ability to work flexible work hours as required

* Able to interpret and work off plans

* Current Driver licence

* Current White card

Job description

- Installing fire rated doors, solid core doors, hollow core doors

- Service and repair doors

- Service and repair door hardware

- Installing fire rated frames

- Compliance with current building codes, technical specifications and company safety policy

- Liaise with businesses, homeowners and stake holders onsite, to ensure satisfaction

- Other Carpentry duties, as required
