Job Description:
We are seeking qualified Fire Technicians and Electricians to join our growing team, working on the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems, electrical systems, and related equipment across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. While industry experience is valued, we also offer training to motivated candidates eager to build a career in fire engineering and building services.
Primary Duties:
Conduct regular inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of systems to ensure ongoing functionality and compliance.
Install, service, and maintain fire detection, fire alarm, fire suppression, and electrical systems in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Carry out repair works on fire protection and electrical systems, including diagnosing faults, replacing components, and restoring systems to full operational status.
Accurately record all work completed on site using web-based platforms such as Uptick (or similar systems) to ensure real-time updates and compliance documentation.
Complete system upgrades and retrofits as required.
Prepare and maintain accurate service records, reports, and compliance documentation.
Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members regarding work progress, requirements, and system operations.
Provide on-call support or attend emergency service calls.
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain a high standard of health and safety practices on all job sites.
Assist with project planning and coordination as needed.
Participate in training sessions to stay current with new technologies, standards, and regulatory changes.
Identify and recommend system improvements or upgrades to clients.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Fire Technician or Electrician preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Relevant certifications/licensing
Valid Australian driver’s license
