About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flooring Installer to join the team at SAS Flooring. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of a variety of flooring materials, including sheet vinyl with coving, vinyl tiles and planks, carpets tiles and broadloom carpets in government/ commercial / retail / educational settings. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney CBD and the in greater Sydney and NSW areas. Travel with all expenses paid.

What you'll be doing

Accurately measure, cut, and install various flooring materials to the highest standards

Prepare subfloors by levelling, cleaning, and priming as required

Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times

Work with junior employees to assist in TAFE qualification training.

Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and provide expert advice

Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Assist with the loading and unloading of materials

Complete all work to agreed timelines and budgets

What we're looking for

Flooring Installer, with trade certification

Strong knowledge of various flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry regulations

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision

Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy materials

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work independently

A valid driver's licence and your own appropriate commercial vehicle
