KeyMoves is partnering with a highly regarded accounting firm based in the inner suburbs of Melbourne, who are seeking a Director in a newly created role to join their growing Business Advisory team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an accounting and advisory practice that has been in business for over 40 years, and has a genuine presence within the local community.

Your new firm provides staff with industry leading training in not just tax advisory, but also people and soft skills. Some examples of seminars staff attend include leadership, personal growth, business development, client relationships and more. You will be provided with all the necessary skillsets to build new business, maintain strong client relationships and be the best accountant you can be.

Description
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of fees, while providing clients with comprehensive advisory and mentoring junior staff.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Providing consulting and compliance services to a wide range of clients

Building and maintaining existing client relationships

Having a proactive approach to business development, contributing to the ongoing growth of the firm

Acting as a Virtual CFO to key clients

Training, mentoring, and reviewing the work of a team of accountants

Key stakeholder management both internally and externally

Profile
Suitable candidates for this role will ideally have:

At least 8 years’ experience working in Business Services or Tax in Australia

CA/CPA qualified

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Strong work ethic and pro-active mentality

Eagerness to learn, develop and progress

Demonstrate drive and ambition to build new business and provide advisory services

No requirement to bring fees
