Our client is a fast-growing Aged Care services provider located in Melbourne's Inner City Suburbs, dedicated to delivering high-quality care. They are seeking a skilled Billing & Collections Officer to join their finance team.
Role Overview:
The Billing & Collections Officer will manage billing processes and collections for aged care services. The role involves ensuring accurate invoicing, timely follow-ups on overdue accounts, and maintaining effective communication with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Billing: Generate accurate invoices, maintain billing records, and assist in audits.
- Collections: Manage overdue accounts, follow up with clients on outstanding payments, and resolve disputes.
- Client Support: Handle client billing inquiries, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on billing, collections, and accounts receivable performance.
- Accounts Receivable: Responsible for carrying out reconcilations on accounts
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in billing and collections, preferably in Aged Care or healthcare.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software (Aged care billing software experience is a plus).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
